In Three days we saw a Musical and 2 Plays Oh My

I will start with Thursday, Will and I dropped all 3 boys off at a babysitter, Connor's sunbeam teacher's house. That was around 1:15 pm and then alittle bit after 2 pm, we checked in to a motel in ST. George UT and it was great not to have the kids with us, we haven't gone somewhere over night with out the kids, since before we have kids and Ethan is 11. Then we went shopping and it was great to be able to try clothes on, normally I never can with the kids with me, so that was great. Then we went to Orange Julius, to have a drink and that was nice, we didn't have to share with anyone, we normally have too. We also went to Barne's and Noble at the mall in ST. George, the store hasn't been there to long and so that was nice. It's one of Will's favorite stores and he loved going in there without the kids. Then it was off to go see "Les Miserables" at Tuacahn in Ivins UT. If you don't know anything about this Amphitheatre, it is outdoors, against the red rocks and it is really beautiful there, you have to go if you get a chance to someday. Anyway, they have a pre show dinner there and we got that also, when we bought the tickets and it was a really good dinner, I enjoyed it. Well, the amphitheatre was packed and thankgoodness it wasn't raining. Oh my gosh, it was such a wonderful musical, words are hard to describe the show. I almost cryed in a few parts and I am glad that I read the abridged version of the book a few weeks ago, it helped refresh my memory of the story. Plus, it is great having the music, we knew the songs, so that was great. After "Les Miserables" was over, they showed fireworks and all of them were great. All and all, that was the best production that I have ever seen before and I absolutely loved it. By the time we got out of there it was after midnight, so we are glad we got a hotel room in ST. George. Cedar is 45 minutes from ST. George. Before we left for Cedar City, we did alittle more shopping and this time I actually found clothes. We got to Sue Ann Berstrom's house around noon and the kids did okay.

Friday night, Ethan was the babysitter, so Will and I could see "The Taming of the Shrew" at the

Utah Shakespearean Festival. We sat in row B center and we have never sat up that close before and it was great. Cause if you sit in rows A-C center, you get a water bottle, a program and a blanket, which you don't keep they use the blankets every year. Anyway, the play was good, but I really liked it the last time that I saw it and that was 4 years ago. Ethan did well with the kids and Zach and Connor were asleep when we got home, which is good, cause it was after 11 pm when we got home.

Saturday night, Ethan was the babysitter again, so we could go see " The Two Gentlemen of Verona" at the Utah Shakespearean Festival and this one was in the outdoor theatre, so if it rains, you go to the rainstage theatre, which is just the auditorium theatre. Anyway, we thought we would have to use the rainstage theatre, cause it started raining, but it wasn't much for them to move us, so that was good. This play was really good and it was funny and there also a dog in the play too. They had auditions for that roll as well as for everyone else of course. Afters, we went to "Dennys" and that was good. Ethan once again did okay with the boys and both were in bed again, so that was nice.

We have started seeing plays at "The Utah Shakespearean", since the summer of 1997 and I have put all the tickets of the shows in my scrapbook, since then, so I can look back and see what shows we have seen. I also have kept all of the programs of the Shakespearean plays, along with all of the programs of shows and dance concerts we have seen at Southern Utah University, since 1993. I love to look back at what we have seen over the years and Will is impressed that I have kept all of those things over the years.

Silly Connor

Okay, Connor has been doing some interesting things lately and they are pretty funny. For instants, he sometimes takes a stuffed Buzz Lightyear and he has also taken his sippy cup and puts them on his pillow and puts his blankets over it, like its going to sleep. Hopefully one of these days, I can get a picture of it. He also has a routine at night, when I am getting Zachary into bed. Yes, out of all 3 boys, Zachary usually goes to bed first, unless Connor is so tired that he either falls asleep on the floor or couch. Anyway, when I brush Zach's teeth, Connor has to brush his teeth. When I get Zach ready for bed, Connor has to be in the room with Zach. Then when I am reading stories to Zachary, Connor has to be in bed with Zachary and he listens to the stories, which is really good. Connor's favorite story that I have been reading to Zach has been "Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?" After I am done with the story, Connor takes the book and he tries to read the book word for word and it is really cute. Then after Zachary kisses his three stuffed animals that is on his bed, gets his drink of water and kisses me good night, Connor has to kiss Zachary good night and then I say good night and then Connor says good night, which you can understand him say. Zachary also listens to soft music when he goes to bed and he always has to have music on or he can't go to sleep. Zachary is the only one that has a routine like this. Also, for the past several mornings Connor has been watching "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" and I don't know why. The movie doesn't even scare him, which is good, but its weird that he wants to watch that movie. He isn't watching the movie this morning, because Zachary woke up first and the tv was to "The Teletubbies". Just thought that I would share.

When my boys were younger

Here are some pictures I have for when the boys were younger. It is hard to imagine, that my youngest Connor is 3 and he will be 4 on Oct. 29. My oldest, Ethan will be 12 on Dec. 2 and then my middle child, Zachary will be 7 on Feb. 3. Where does the time go, it has gone by so fast. For those who may not know this, I have had 5 pregnancies. I had a miscarriage in Jan of 1996, then Ethan was born in Dec. Then I had an eptopic (I think that is how you spell it) pregnancy and they had to take out my left tube and that was in Oct. 2000. I have had 2 children, since I have had that happen in Oct. 2000. I have always wanted a girl, but my situation is different then most people. For 1 thing I only have 1 tube and the other thing is Zachary has Muscular Dystrophy and if I got pregnant and had another boy, his chances of having Muscular Dystrophy would be 50/50. I really don't want to risk that and so there is another option and that is adoption. Ever since, I was younger I have always wanted to adopted, so maybe that is how I am supposed to get my little girl. But, the thing is about adoption, it is way to expensive and there is no way we will be able to afford it, expecially if Will works at Metal Craft. Maybe someday, we will adopt, but if we did, it would be down the road sometime.

I Love Pictures

I am one who loves to have pictures of family and other things up on my walls in my house. To me, it seems like home, when you have pictures on the walls. I also have pictures on top of my entertainment center, bookshelves, and dressers. I wasn't always that way, for the first few years of being married, I really didn't have that many pictures in our apartment at all. But then I remember going home to Ramona CA for Christmas one year and we stayed in my sister's Amy room for the time we stayed there. She had pictures all around her room of friends and family and so she inspired me to have more pictures of family and friends in my house. So thanks Amy. Its great to have pictures, so as you can see here are some pictures in my house, enjoy.

What Would It Be Like To Own A Corvette?

It would be awesome to own one, but I don't know if I ever would have the money to own one. Anyway, I love corvettes and have ever since I was little. This past Saturday Ethan & I went to the July Jamboree & Crusie In. They have done this for the past 11 years. They close part of Main Street and there are many cars and vendors. The cars are anywhere from the 1950's to 2008. I saw so many corvettes, I thought that I was going to die. I even took a picture of Ethan next to a black truck, it was so much bigger than him. I thought that I would share some pictures.

Potty training

We have been potty training Connor for a few weeks now and he has gotten it down faster then Ethan or Zachary has, well as far as Pee is concerned. The poop, he hasn't quite figured it out, that he is suppose to do the poop in the potty too, so he has had a few accidents. When we go places and when he goes to bed, he wears a pull up and of course to him, its a diaper, so he does everything in his pull up. He doesn't use a potty seat, he uses the toilet like everyone else does, which is a good thing. Zachary is 6 and he is afraid of the toilet, so he still uses his potty seat and we keep telling him that he is going into the first grade and that there are no small toilets like he had in Kindergarten. Does anyone have any suggestions of what we need to do to help Zachary get over his fear? He starts first grade Aug. 14. Plus, Zachary is afraid of so many things and we don't know what to do about those things. Some of you don't know this, but Zachary has a mild form of Autism and he also has Muscular Dystrophy, so he isn't your typical 6 year old.

Ethan Playing Guitar Hero

Ethan got Play Station 2 for Christmas and then he bought Guitar Hero with his money he got for Christmas. It is now July and he has gotten really good at it. He was playing Guitar Hero at Walmart the other day and he said a bunch a people were watching him and saying how good he was. I have tried playing, well I only have once and I wasn't that good at it. I know it takes practice and that what Ethan has been doing. Just thought I would share. Here is a picture of him playing.

Welcome to the Blogger World

My three sisters have a blog, so I decided to have a blog too. My life right now is going okay, Ethan, Zach and Connor are keeping me busy and I love being a mom. It is hard to believe that my oldest son, Ethan is 11 and going to be in the 6th grade and that means his first year in middle school. Right now, Ethan is the only one taking swimming lessons and he is enjoying it. He is in level 4 and level 5 and 6 are with him. He has been taking the lessons, since June 23 and he finishs the lessons on July 23.Ethan was also in the Utah Summer Games, back in June and his sport was Soccer. His team did really good, but they didn't get a medal, but that is okay, they all had fun and that is what counts.

Zach is doing okay, he loves to watch Ethan play video games and he also loves to play Mario Kart Double Dash on Game Cube with Ethan and he does his best. He also loves to go in the car, whenever one of us goes somewhere, especially if its to Walmart. He has to look at fans, when we go there, he talks about them all of the time. He also loves to talk about cats, even though he doesn't like cats and we all think its strange that he does that.

Connor is doing okay, he loves to get into everything and he is talking more and more, which is really good. Connor finds the weirdest places to hide, he loves to climb into the dryer, none of the other 2 did that and he also found a way to get into the trunk of are Toyota Yarris, he found the lever to the trunk and he pulled it and of course it opened and then climbed into the trunk. So, for Connor's sake, we have to keep the cars locked at all times.

Will is doing okay, he is busy working at Metal Craft and he also has been helping out with the Neil Simon Festival, which opens next week. He loves the theater, so whenever he can help out with the theater, he will, theater is his passion. As for me I am doing okay, trying to hang in there and I hope this blogging world goes okay, this is all new to me, so I am learning. I haven't been doing to much, but I have been seeing a Chiropractor for the last 3 weeks for my back. I have been having back problems on and off for years and so I thought it was time to see one. My best friend Talisha works there, as a receptionist and so I go in there all of the time, so the doctors know me, so that makes it nice. When I saw the doctor the first time, he was feeling around my neck and he asked me, if I have ever been in an accident and I said yes, but not for years, cause he said it feels like I have had whiplash and that has happened for about 10 years ago but he said sometimes you don't know you have whiplash, until years later and I didn't know that.

I am sorry that my first entry was long, but I wanted to tell everyone how everyone is doing. Here are some more pictures of the boys.
