LET'S PARTY!!!!!!!!!

This past Friday, Ethan had his 13th birthday party and he invited 21 of his friends, but thank goodness they all didn't show up. Only 13 of his friends came, which is still a lot, but not as many as 21. Including all his friends, my 3 boys and my husband came home to help me out, which was good. There were 17 boys in my house and yes I was the only girl. It got to be crazy at times, but Ethan had so much fun. His friends love his parties. When Ethan handed out his invitations, all of them said, "It's that time of year again" and I thought that was funny.

When his friends showed up they would go in his room and just watch people play the X Box and his room isn't that big, so it got pretty crowd in his room. When everyone showed up, I told them it was time to eat pizza and they all came out and devoured the 3 pizza's I got for them. Don't worry I fed Zach and Connor before everyone started showing up. My husband also got some pizza and I didn't, but that is okay. We also had either root beer or coke to drink and all of that ended up gone, but that is okay, we don't drink much soda pop. They they either played the X Box, the Wii or played Nerf Tag for awhile. Then I told them it was time for cake and I want to tell my friend Hanna Thank-You for making the cake for him. It was a big hit with the boys. She made him a BYU vs. Utah cake and some of his friends told him they would only eat on the BYU half and some of his friends would only eat on the Utah half. I thought it was pretty funny. After they were done, they went back to playing video games or playing nerf tag. Then it was time for opening presents and he only got 2 actually presents, the game Trouble and we have wanted that game for several years now and the other was another nerf gun. Then from everyone else he got money, so that was good, since he is saving up for an X Box 360. Then parents started showing up and 2 of his friends spent the night and then it was quiet. Will also had to go back to work.

After the party and after Zach and Connor were in bed I told Ethan I was going to get something to eat with a friend, cause I haven't eaten yet and here it was 9:30 pm all ready. I told them the pizza went really fast and I didn't have any, cause I was making sure everyone else got pizza first. I went to IHOP and it was good food and good company. After being in the house with that many boys, I was about to go insane, so I needed a break and it was a nice needed break too.

It's official, I now have a teenager.

2 years old
4 years old

7 years old

12 years old

Ethan Lee Sizemore born in Cedar City UT at 11:25 pm on Dec. 2, 1996. It has been 13 wonderful years with him and he is such a great son. He loves his brothers, well most of the time he does and his brothers love him a lot, even though it might not seem like they do, especially when they are fighting and then someone ends up crying. I love Ethan so very much and sometimes I wish that I could show him some more that I really do love him.

Just thinking back over these 13 years, well sometimes it seems like a blurr and that I can't have a teenager, cause I don't look old enough to have a teenager, that is what some people say to me. Anyway, he loves sports, especially soccer and over the years he has gotten really good at playing. He started playing when he was 5 and he has played every year, except 1 year, when we lived in Arizona. He also plays Basketball and he has played that for about 4 or 5, I think. He also played tennis once and he played started playing Little League last year and he'll continue that. He also wishes he could play Ice Hockey, but they don't play that around here, so maybe someday he'll play that. He also is really good at playing video games and he has been playing that, since he was 2. He has so many friends, that I haven't even met all of them yet, so you could say he is popular at school, which is good for a 7th grader. So you could say he is a really good friend. As far as birthday parties are concerned, its tradition for him to have a friends party and he has really good friends who love coming, but of course he can't invite all of his friends, that would be way to many. He told me when he was handing out his invitations at school, all of his friends said, "It's that time of year again." This year he invited 21 boys, but not all of them are able to come, which is a good thing because are house isn't that big.

Another thing, I always think of around his birthday's, is the time we could of lost him and I get choked up everytime I think about it. It was the beginning of March 1998, Ethan just had his 15 month check up and everything was perfect with him and his health. Then with in the next 3 weeks, changes began to happen. We just moved into a new ward in Cedar City, so we didn't know that many people in that ward and then we noticed Ethan was losing some weight and he wasn't eating that much and we had to change his clothes all of the time and some days Ethan would just lie there not wanting to do anything. Then 1 Sunday night Will went for a drive and I was home with Ethan. We were watching some tv and then Ethan threw up, so I went to go change him and then Will came home and so we decided right then to take him to the hospital. It took the nurses a few times to get an IV in his arm, cause for one thing he was screaming and another thing they couldn't find a very good vein. He takes after me in that area. Anyway, finally they found a vein, so that was good and they called his doctor. The doctor checked his blood sugar and it was 550 and so right then he told us that he has Type 1 Diabetes and I was in shock, I couldn't believe it, cause in the back of my mind I thought he might of had diabetes, but no one in Will's and my families have diabetes. He stayed in the hospital for 5 days, so Will and I could learn all about diabetes and what we need to do and wow it was lots of information. We were going to take Ethan to the doctor the next morning, since it would of been a Monday, but thank goodness he threw up the night before. If we would of waited, Ethan would of slipped into a coma and died. The lab results came back and it was over 800 and that is way to high for anyone to have. So, he was almost 16 months old when he was diagnosed with diabetes.

Where has the time gone?

1 YEARS OLD
2 YEARS OLD 3 YEARS OLD

4 YEARS OLD

5 YEARS OLD

I cannot believe that Connor Nathaniel Sizemore, my youngest is 5 years old today. The thing that is exciting about Connor is, well he has so much energy, that sometimes it is really hard keeping up with him, but we do the best we can. He is really into Batman and Bakugan this year and yes he still loves watching movies, but he doesn't watch as many anymore. He also loves watching Dora the explorer, yes you heard me right, he loves Dora and he also loves watching Diego. He loves playing with his brothers and he is talking more and more each day, so it is nice to listen to him talk. Even though Connor is a boy, he does have his fair share of drama. He gets upset when he can't have something that he wants, well I think many kids are this way and he also throws fits when he can't watch a tv show that he wants, well he has to remember that there are 4 other people in this house that likes to watch something now and then too. But we all love him anyway and he is a joy to have in the Sizemore household.

FANATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 37 years old and I am a TinkerBell fanatic. I have a pink TinkerBell jacket, 2 Tinkerbell keychains, TinkerBell PJ's, a Tinkerbell print, 2 Tinkerbell mugs and some TinkerBell figurines. Now, I have more Tinkerbell figurines, 8 new ones that I got last week and these ones are really nice. My mom mailed them to me and I am very thankful to her, since she didn't have to do that and I wasn't expecting anything like that. It wasn't my birthday and Christmas is over 2 months away. I hope from the picture of the figurines, you can see that each one of them has a word in the wings. If you can't tell the 8 words are: Joy, Magic, Believe, Love, Imagine, Dream, Wish, and Hope. I think all of those words represent Tinkerbell and in someways, I wish I was more like her. I have always been a fan of hers, but its been within the last 5 years that I have started collecting things of Tinkerbell.

IT'S ME.

I know it's been over 5 weeks, since I have written, but I am now writing. Here is what has been going on with us. Will is still at Metal Craft, which we are grateful he has a job, but the hours aren't the greatest, he works Mon-Thurs 3:15 pm-1:45 am and Fridays are considered overtime and he goes in, we need to money. He still likes to go running and reading in his spare time. Ethan is enjoying 7th grade and he has lots of good friends, which is good. He also finished up soccer yesterday and his team lost, so they are out of the playoffs, but when he played goalie, he saved lots of goals, so that is really good. Basketball season starts for him in December and he is looking forward to that. Zach is loving 2nd grade, he loves riding the bus and all the kids like him, so that is good. He also has a girlfriend named Melody, which I think is cute. Everytime he comes home from school, he always says if she was or wasn't at school and he also gives her dandelions at recess. He has 2 aides, which is good, cause sometimes he has almost fallen in class and they have been right there helping him. He is really good at math, he loves numbers and reading on the other hand, we really need to work with him on that. Connor, is loving preschool 4 days a week and he also loves riding the bus. He loves counting things and saying his ABC's and he is getting really good at those. Plus, most kids his age, would always ask Why at everything, well not Connor, he always asks What Happened to everything, well just about everything that is. He has also made some progress with potty training, but he still has some ways to go. Will and I think something might be wrong with him, when it comes to going to the bathroom, so when he has his 5 year old checkup, we will have to ask the doctor.

As for me, well I am sick with a cold right now and I hate it, cause I am going to Colorado Wednesday-Saturday next week and I hope I am better by then. I am going to my sister Amy's house and my mom and my 2 other sisters will be there and also my 15 year old niece will also be there. We are seeing "Wicked" on Thursday and I am so excited to go. Anyway, besides being sick I guess I am doing okay. I am trying to hang in there, but for me that is sometimes hard to do, but I am the mom, so I have to be there for my kids and my husband, but sometimes I wonder what else am I besides being the mom. There are so many things that I would like to do, but we have no money for those things and so I guess that is why I am on the computer a lot of the time. I have a lot of books that I need to read, but I don't know what book to start next and no it isn't any of the Twlight books. It seems like I am the only one, who doesn't care about the Twlight series. Anyway, Ethan also told me a few weeks ago, well he has told me this before that he wishes he had a little sister. I so wish I could get him that, but as most of you know I probably shouldn't get pregnant again and I am sad. Connor and Zach both love babies too and I wish I could fulfill all of their wishes, but to do that I would have to adopt, but I don't know if we will ever be able to afford that.

Let's Go Fishing

Last month, our good friend Larry Topham, who happens to be my best friend's dad took Will and the boys fishing. They all had fun and to my surprise Connor didn't even try to jump into the water. That is a relieve. Larry even let Ethan drive the boat and he liked that. Larry caught a big fish, Ethan caught a fish and Zach caught a fish. So I am proud of them.

So you are probably wondering what I did, well not much. I went to some yard sales and just took it easy. I also went to lunch with Teresa, Larry's wife and we went to AppleBee's and it was so good. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Skyfest 2009

Skyfest has been in Cedar City every September for sometime now and this is the first year that most of us have be able to go there and see them inflate the balloons and just be there. There were lots of people there, but that is okay we had a good time. Enjoy the pictures.
