I would like one

I wish I had one of these

So I can ride for fun in the sun.
So, I can eventually ride in one of these.

I know it might take awhile to get to the last one, but I think it would be kind of fun to do it. But of course I would need a bike first and hopefully I can get one soon. It has been a very long time, since I have ridden a bike, let alone own a bike. I don't like to run, so maybe riding a bike is the next best thing.

Wondering....

I have been thinking of having a baby lately, but I am scared to death because if the baby is another boy he could have Muscular Dystrophy, just like Zachary. Plus I have back problems and I only have 1 tube, so I am considered high risk pregnancy.

OR

I am thinking of becoming a photographer, but I would have to go back to college. See Below.

I am scared to death to go back to college. It has been 10 years since I have been. It would be great to have a degree in Photography, but school has always been hard for me, but I think I can do it.

Anyway, I just don't know what to do right now. Those are some of the things that I have been thinking of doing lately, but I dont know. SUU doesn't have a Photography degree, but I know some colleges that do. All of my boys want a sister and it would be great to give them one, but that scares me. Connor loves babies and I think it would be great if I had a girl because then she would have 3 older brothers. I just don't know the right path to take and I have been praying about it, but sometimes I feel like I am praying wrong or something like that. That is all for now, sorry I haven't written on my blog for awhile, but I have been having writer's block lately and most of the time I have no idea what to blog about.

SeaWorld 2009

I know this is a little late putting our trip to SeaWorld on here, but here it goes. While we were in visiting my family in California, we decided to go to Seaworld. This is one of my favorite places to go and the last time we went was back in Dec. of 2007. We went on Wednesday Dec. 30 and it was the only day that it decided to rain on us, while we were in California, but it wasn't that bad. It rained quite a bit on the way back to my parents house. If some of you have been to SeaWorld, you probably know that a photographer always takes your picture and gives you a card with a number on it, so when you leave the park, you can get the picture if you want and of course it costs money. We always get that picture and we have 4 different pictures of us from SeaWorld in the house and its fun to see those pictures.

Anyway, we all had at SeaWorld, even Connor had fun. We saw some shows while we were there. We saw the dog show and the sealion and otter show. Those shows were so funny. We also had lunch there and saw so many animals. I hope you enjoyed all of the pictures.

Christmas 2009

My brother Tyler giving some pointers for Zach. I don't remember
what game Zach is playing.

Connor playing with his cousin Laura. They loved playing with one
another.

I know Christmas was over 2 weeks ago and I am finally updated my blog about what we all did. We left for Ramona California on Christmas Eve and we have been every year, since we have been married, except 1 year, when I was pregnant with Zachary. Anyway, we left after 7 am, Utah time and we ate breakfast and filled up the gas tank in ST. George. We ate lunch in Barstow CA and we also filled the gas tank while we were still in Barstow. We got to my parents house, around 5 pm CA time. We stay in a condo while we are there and my dad and I checked us in and then my dad and I put the stuff in the condo. We had a delicious dinner that my mom prepared and then we visited and it was great being there with my parents and younger brother Tyler. We then left for the condo and we would be back in the morning.

Christmas was nice and we got to my parents house around 11:30 am and we started opening presents around noon. We have a tradition that we take turns opening presents. The youngest also goes first, which was Connor and the oldest goes last, which is my dad and then we start over. We have always had this tradition, ever since I was little. I know that takes along time to get through, but its a great thing to do because you get to see what everyone gets. Then afterwards my brother Tim, his wife Sarah and 4 kids came over to open there presents that were under my parents tree. They live next door to my parents. The rest of Christmas was nice and relaxing.

These are some of the other things we did, while in California:

Shopping
Eating good food
visiting with family
playing video games(the kids mostly did this)
Will and I saw "Sherlock Holmes" and I loved that movie.
Will, the kids and I also went to SeaWorld, but that is another post.
Eating good food. Oh, I already said that.

New Year's Eve was nice and quiet, but that is the way I like it. We had some friends over and we played a few games and put the younger kids in bed. My brother and his wife and oldest son were also there, so that was nice too Then we had more good food and it was also nice to visit. We left Jan. 2 to come back to Utah and the weather was good all the way home, which is the best way to go. We had a wonderful trip to California and we don't know when we might get back to CA. It might be this Christmas or who knows when. I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Moscow Ballet

On Dec. 2, my husband and I got to see the Moscow Ballet perform The Nutcracker. I know it was Ethan's birthday but he understood, since he was celebrating his birthday with his friends on Friday. I am so glad we went and that we got tickets when we did, cause it was sold out. It was a wonderful evening and I love the ballet of The Nutcracker. Watching the ballet of The Nutcracker, made me miss dance and it also had Will missing the arts. It also was great to actually see The Moscow Ballet perform this and it was probably one of the best Nutcracker's that I have seen and I have seen several performances of the ballet performed by different companies. Afterwards, I had to buy something and I bought these 3 glass ornaments of ballerinas and they are not on the tree yet. Will and I also got to get a picture taken with one of the performers of the show and I thought that was so cool. If the Moscow Ballet ever comes to your city, I highly recommend to go see them. It was a beautiful ballet.

LET'S PARTY!!!!!!!!!

This past Friday, Ethan had his 13th birthday party and he invited 21 of his friends, but thank goodness they all didn't show up. Only 13 of his friends came, which is still a lot, but not as many as 21. Including all his friends, my 3 boys and my husband came home to help me out, which was good. There were 17 boys in my house and yes I was the only girl. It got to be crazy at times, but Ethan had so much fun. His friends love his parties. When Ethan handed out his invitations, all of them said, "It's that time of year again" and I thought that was funny.

When his friends showed up they would go in his room and just watch people play the X Box and his room isn't that big, so it got pretty crowd in his room. When everyone showed up, I told them it was time to eat pizza and they all came out and devoured the 3 pizza's I got for them. Don't worry I fed Zach and Connor before everyone started showing up. My husband also got some pizza and I didn't, but that is okay. We also had either root beer or coke to drink and all of that ended up gone, but that is okay, we don't drink much soda pop. They they either played the X Box, the Wii or played Nerf Tag for awhile. Then I told them it was time for cake and I want to tell my friend Hanna Thank-You for making the cake for him. It was a big hit with the boys. She made him a BYU vs. Utah cake and some of his friends told him they would only eat on the BYU half and some of his friends would only eat on the Utah half. I thought it was pretty funny. After they were done, they went back to playing video games or playing nerf tag. Then it was time for opening presents and he only got 2 actually presents, the game Trouble and we have wanted that game for several years now and the other was another nerf gun. Then from everyone else he got money, so that was good, since he is saving up for an X Box 360. Then parents started showing up and 2 of his friends spent the night and then it was quiet. Will also had to go back to work.

After the party and after Zach and Connor were in bed I told Ethan I was going to get something to eat with a friend, cause I haven't eaten yet and here it was 9:30 pm all ready. I told them the pizza went really fast and I didn't have any, cause I was making sure everyone else got pizza first. I went to IHOP and it was good food and good company. After being in the house with that many boys, I was about to go insane, so I needed a break and it was a nice needed break too.

It's official, I now have a teenager.

2 years old
4 years old

7 years old

12 years old

Ethan Lee Sizemore born in Cedar City UT at 11:25 pm on Dec. 2, 1996. It has been 13 wonderful years with him and he is such a great son. He loves his brothers, well most of the time he does and his brothers love him a lot, even though it might not seem like they do, especially when they are fighting and then someone ends up crying. I love Ethan so very much and sometimes I wish that I could show him some more that I really do love him.

Just thinking back over these 13 years, well sometimes it seems like a blurr and that I can't have a teenager, cause I don't look old enough to have a teenager, that is what some people say to me. Anyway, he loves sports, especially soccer and over the years he has gotten really good at playing. He started playing when he was 5 and he has played every year, except 1 year, when we lived in Arizona. He also plays Basketball and he has played that for about 4 or 5, I think. He also played tennis once and he played started playing Little League last year and he'll continue that. He also wishes he could play Ice Hockey, but they don't play that around here, so maybe someday he'll play that. He also is really good at playing video games and he has been playing that, since he was 2. He has so many friends, that I haven't even met all of them yet, so you could say he is popular at school, which is good for a 7th grader. So you could say he is a really good friend. As far as birthday parties are concerned, its tradition for him to have a friends party and he has really good friends who love coming, but of course he can't invite all of his friends, that would be way to many. He told me when he was handing out his invitations at school, all of his friends said, "It's that time of year again." This year he invited 21 boys, but not all of them are able to come, which is a good thing because are house isn't that big.

Another thing, I always think of around his birthday's, is the time we could of lost him and I get choked up everytime I think about it. It was the beginning of March 1998, Ethan just had his 15 month check up and everything was perfect with him and his health. Then with in the next 3 weeks, changes began to happen. We just moved into a new ward in Cedar City, so we didn't know that many people in that ward and then we noticed Ethan was losing some weight and he wasn't eating that much and we had to change his clothes all of the time and some days Ethan would just lie there not wanting to do anything. Then 1 Sunday night Will went for a drive and I was home with Ethan. We were watching some tv and then Ethan threw up, so I went to go change him and then Will came home and so we decided right then to take him to the hospital. It took the nurses a few times to get an IV in his arm, cause for one thing he was screaming and another thing they couldn't find a very good vein. He takes after me in that area. Anyway, finally they found a vein, so that was good and they called his doctor. The doctor checked his blood sugar and it was 550 and so right then he told us that he has Type 1 Diabetes and I was in shock, I couldn't believe it, cause in the back of my mind I thought he might of had diabetes, but no one in Will's and my families have diabetes. He stayed in the hospital for 5 days, so Will and I could learn all about diabetes and what we need to do and wow it was lots of information. We were going to take Ethan to the doctor the next morning, since it would of been a Monday, but thank goodness he threw up the night before. If we would of waited, Ethan would of slipped into a coma and died. The lab results came back and it was over 800 and that is way to high for anyone to have. So, he was almost 16 months old when he was diagnosed with diabetes.
